- Associate Attorney
Sam received his law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2013. While studying at Temple Law, Sam served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Annette M. Rizzo in Philadelphia's Court of Common Pleas, where he helped manage the Philadelphia Foreclosure Prevention Program, one of the first in the Country pioneered by Judge Rizzo. Sam served as Research Assistant to two of his professors, and worked for the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts as a Legal Services Coordinator, which involved working on low-bono and pro-bono intellectual property cases. Sam was also a member of Temple's Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, representing Temple at the 2012 National Competition in Boston and winning the award for Best Individual Oral Argument. Sam graduated from Temple Law as one of three Fellows in the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society, which requires dedicating 100 hours or more to legally-related pro bono work while in law school. Sam also graduated as a member of Temple's Intellectual Property Law Society and is certified in Temple's Integrated Trial Advocacy Program.
After graduating from Law School, Sam made his way back to Washington, D.C., where he previously attended undergrad at American University, and began working in the Mortgage Foreclosure and Secured Transactions Industry. After a brief interlude working for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and a boutique Employment Discrimination firm, Sam landed happily with the Kurland Law Group and its tight knit family of attorneys and staff.
Sam maintains a passion for movies, biking, and - above all - photography, and is always proud to share his photography, which can be found at samgoldstein.net.
