Marie-Claire received her law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 2009.   In 2007, while attending law school, Marie-Claire worked as a judicial Intern for the Honorable S. Pamela Gray in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia Family Court, and as a summer clerk for the Honorable Mary Terell in the Superior Court District of Columbia.

In 2008, Marie-Claire worked as a law clerk for the managing attorney of the Washington, D.C. office of The Cochran Firm. Upon graduation she joined the Cochran Firm as a junior attorney and was devoted exclusively to the representation of individuals in catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death cases and medical malpractice matters. Marie-Claire worked on several cases during her tenure at the Cochran Firm where numerous multi-million dollar recoveries for clients were obtained. 

Currently, Marie-Claire Noukelak’s practice focuses on representing consumers against large banks and mortgage servicers in complex litigation in Maryland state and federal court, including lawsuits involving claims brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Uniform Commercial Code, and state consumer protection statutes. Marie-Claire also represents debtors in complicated bankruptcy cases.

Marie-Claire is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  She is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the state of Maryland.
